Chinese Baby Maker Scientist in Genes Sentenced to 3 Years Prison. A Chinese scientist who adopted baby’s genes has been sentenced to three years in prison.

 

This is reported by the Chinese state medium Xinhua. He Jiankui announced in November 2018 that he had used a gene technology called CRISPR-Cas9 to modify the genes of twin embryos.
