Eight People, Including Four Children, Missing After the Explosion in Belgium

German Police and Firefighters Were Attacked Last Night

German police and firefighters were attacked last night after arriving at a fire report in Dietzenbach near Frankfurt.

About 50 people pelted emergency services with stones after the group started a fire. Nobody was injured.

At midnight, garbage bins and an excavator were set on fire on a parking deck. On arrival, the firefighters and officers were immediately pelted with stones.

“We assume that the fire has been lit only to attack the emergency services,” said a police spokesman.

The confrontation lasted about two hours. Three people have been arrested.

The damage amounts to at least 150,000 euros.
