Man Admits Responsibility, But Pleads Innocent in Murder of Woman in London Park

A 36-year-old garage owner from Eastbourne on Thursday admitted responsibility for the death of a London woman.

In September, Sabina Nessa was found dead in a park in the British capital.

However, Koci Selamaj, who was arrested on September 26 on suspicion of murder, has formally pleaded not guilty to the woman’s murder during a hearing in the criminal court of the Old Bailey. That is, a process will take place. A new hearing is scheduled for February 25. The trial could begin on June 7 and last more than a month.

28-year-old teacher Sabina Nessa disappeared in London on September 17 as she returned home after a night out, barely a five-minute walk from the cafe where she was meeting a friend. A passer-by found her body in the early evening the following day, hidden under foliage in a park.

The prime suspect and police officer Wayne Couzens confessed to kidnapping, raping and murdering Everard. Couzens was sentenced to life in prison but appealed.
