President Vladimir Putin has called on Russia’s neighbours not to take any actions that could lead to heightening tensions with Moscow.
Putin said he has nothing bad in mind with the neighbouring countries and that Russia will fulfil all obligations towards those countries.
The president said there is no need to focus on less good relations with neighbouring countries. He said that if Russia takes certain steps at all, it always happens as a “response to unfriendly actions against the Russian Federation”.
It is not clear which neighbouring countries Putin was targeting specifically.
