Record Temperature of 39.1 Degrees in the United Kingdom

The highest temperature ever recorded is in the United Kingdom. For example, in Charlwood (Surrey) in southern England, the mercury rose to 39.1 degrees.

 

If the reading is confirmed, it will be a record, reports the national Met Office. The current record 38.7 degrees was measured in Cambridge in July 2019.

 

The weather institute expects temperatures to rise further this Tuesday.
